BJP National President Nitin Nabin recently assessed the flood conditions in Gujarat with state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma. Nabin acknowledged receiving a comprehensive briefing from Vishwakarma on the heavy rainfall impact and ongoing relief operations in the affected regions.
Expressing solidarity, Nabin emphasized the party’s commitment to ensuring swift aid delivery to affected individuals. He highlighted the active involvement of every BJP worker in supporting relief endeavors and serving affected communities during this challenging period.
In response to the crisis, the Gujarat BJP unit has initiated a 24×7 helpline and control room to aid those impacted by the severe weather conditions. This initiative aims to enhance communication between affected residents and the authorities for effective coordination and support.
The helpline, managed under the supervision of state president Jagdish Vishwakarma as part of the “Seva Hi Sangathan” campaign, operates from the party’s state headquarters in Gandhinagar. Party workers are on standby round the clock to provide assistance and ensure timely responses to distress calls.
The BJP has urged flood-affected individuals and their families to utilize the dedicated helpline numbers for any required support. Information gathered through these channels will be promptly relayed to the relevant authorities to facilitate immediate assistance and coordination efforts.
Party leaders underscored the control room’s role in collecting data on stranded individuals and those facing challenges due to the adverse weather conditions. They reiterated the commitment of party workers to collaborate with the administration in relief and rescue operations, maintaining a continuous presence at the control room to address emerging needs.
