Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajasthan State President Madan Rathore criticized former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for his handling of the Panchna Dam dispute. Rathore questioned Gehlot’s failure to resolve the issue during his tenure, highlighting the prolonged hardships faced by the affected region under the previous Congress government.

Rathore accused the Gehlot government of inaction despite ample opportunities to address the matter effectively. He criticized those who were unable to resolve the issue while in power for now resorting to misleading the public through political accusations. Rathore emphasized the need for constructive efforts rather than political rhetoric in addressing public welfare issues.

The BJP state president affirmed the current government’s commitment to finding a balanced solution to the Panchna Dam dispute. He mentioned ongoing dialogues with stakeholders and a dedication to reaching a mutually acceptable resolution through consensus and administrative cooperation. Rathore stressed the importance of accountability, transparency, and public interest in the government’s actions.
