BJP state President B.Y. Vijayendra dismissed Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s accusation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided discussing the President’s speech in the Lok Sabha. Vijayendra criticized the Congress party, stating that the culture of evading responsibility stems from its roots. He also mocked Siddaramaiah, urging him to first locate Rahul Gandhi to resolve leadership issues in Karnataka.
Vijayendra clarified that PM Modi was present in the Parliament House and addressed the issues boldly in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. He accused the Congress party of creating chaos in Karnataka through governance failures, leading to continuous infighting and administrative standstill. Vijayendra highlighted the absence of Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing the need for resolving leadership disputes in the state.
CM Siddaramaiah criticized PM Modi for not responding during the motion of thanks in the Lok Sabha, calling it an insult to Parliament and an act of cowardice. He expressed concern over the BJP’s silence during crucial discussions and accused them of blocking important issues raised by opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi regarding national security.
