Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson Pratyush Kanth highlighted the significant role of non-resident Indians (NRIs) as ambassadors of Indian culture. Kanth praised NRIs for their contributions to India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He commended author Gurmukh Singh for showcasing the achievements of patriotic Indo-Canadians in his book “Great Indo-Canadians.”

The book features successful Indo-Canadian entrepreneurs who have excelled in various fields and promoted Indian culture in Canada. Among them are individuals like V.I. ‘Lucky’ Lakshmanan, Ramesh Chotai, Satish Thakkar, Anil Shah, and Surjit Babra, who have received prestigious awards for their accomplishments. These individuals have not only achieved success in their respective fields but have also made significant charitable contributions in both Canada and India.

Gurmukh Singh, the author of the book, is a well-known journalist with a background in major Canadian newspapers and media outlets. Singh’s work has been praised for its engaging narrative and visual appeal, making it a compelling read for those interested in the stories of successful Indo-Canadians.
