With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing a clear majority in West Bengal and Assam, state Presidents of the party have described this period as a ‘golden phase’ nationwide. They emphasized that the electoral outcome reflects the public’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva highlighted the party’s strong performance in Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, attributing this success to PM Modi’s guidance.
Sachdeva also underscored the significance of BJP’s lead in West Bengal, linking it to the party’s ideological roots in the state. Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia termed the party’s lead in Assam as “historic,” expressing gratitude to the voters for their trust in PM Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He pledged to work diligently to fulfill the aspirations of the people over the next five years, ensuring the implementation of the party’s election promises.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi described the BJP’s victory in West Bengal as a saffron wave, symbolizing the party’s success in the state. He commended the party workers for their efforts, noting the challenges faced during the election process. Saraogi highlighted the significance of the BJP’s win over the ruling party in West Bengal, emphasizing the people’s desire for change and fair elections.
