Celebrations broke out in West Bengal as BJP workers celebrated the party’s anticipated victory by distributing ‘jhalmuri’ and ‘kamala bhog’ while dancing to Bengali tunes. Party leader Narayan Chattopadhyay joined the festivities outside the state headquarters, sharing the traditional snacks.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had enjoyed ‘jhalmuri’ during his campaign stop in Jhargram. Chattopadhyay expressed joy, mentioning the festive atmosphere and plans for grand celebrations with saffron colors.
Amidst chants of ‘Jai Shree Ram,’ a BJP worker highlighted the victory, especially for the women of Bengal. Another supporter emphasized the party’s commitment to governance and development in the state, particularly focusing on women’s safety and progress.
