A body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in the Secretariat police station area of Patna, a highly sensitive VVIP zone, causing concern among law enforcement agencies. The unidentified body’s discovery has raised questions about the death’s circumstances and the security measures in the vicinity. The body was found near the residence of Mokama MLA Anant Kumar Singh within the Secretariat police station limits.
Authorities, upon receiving the information, dispatched personnel to the scene for investigation and to secure the area. The body remains unidentified, and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was summoned to collect evidence due to the case’s sensitive nature. Investigators are scrutinizing the body’s condition and other materials found at the site to ascertain the events leading to the death.
To oversee the investigation, Secretariat SDPO-1 Dr. Anu Kumari arrived at the location. Police officers meticulously examined the scene, interrogated individuals in the vicinity, aiming to gather information for identification and reconstructing the sequence of events. The cause of death, whether accidental, suicidal, or criminal, has not been determined yet, with all possible angles under examination.
Authorities are now concentrating on identifying the deceased using available evidence.
