Bollywood actress Kajol Devgan recently visited the iconic Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata for a spiritual visit. She offered prayers at the revered temple amidst tight security, donning a casual red co-ord set paired with black sunglasses. A video on social media captured her entering the temple with police officials and her team, carrying pooja items.
Last year, Kajol visited the same temple before the release of her film ‘Maa,’ seeking blessings as part of the promotional journey. Known for her devotion to Maa Kali, she participated in the temple’s aarti ceremony during her visit. In a previous visit in 2024, Kajol was accompanied by her mother Tanuja and son Yug to the Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata.
Hailing from a culturally diverse family background with Marathi and Bengali roots, Kajol was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. On the professional front, she was last seen in the movie ‘Maa,’ a mythological horror film directed by Vishal Furia. The film revolves around a mother and daughter confronting a demonic curse in her late husband’s ancestral village, leading to a battle against evil forces and difficult choices.
