Ace Bollywood designer and filmmaker Manish Malhotra’s mother, Garima Malhotra, aged 94, passed away on Thursday. Her last rites were conducted at the Santacruz crematorium following Hindu traditions. Members of the film industry, including Karan Johar, Urmila Matondkar, Rakul Preet Singh, and others, offered their support to Manish during this difficult time.

Many prominent figures from Bollywood visited Manish’s residence to offer condolences. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan with Natasha Dalal, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Raveena Tandon, and Zoya Akhtar were among those who met with Manish at his Mumbai home. Garima Malhotra, despite her son’s fame, remained out of the spotlight but played a crucial role in his upbringing, offering him emotional support and stability during his early struggles.

Before establishing himself as a renowned costume designer, Manish Malhotra ventured into acting but faced career uncertainties. His mother, Garima, provided him with encouragement and support during this challenging period.
