Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s film “Dhurandhar-The Revenge” has made history in the UK by surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” as the highest-grossing Indian film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie has earned 4.383 million pounds, edging past “Pathaan” which grossed 4.380 million pounds.
This achievement in the UK adds to the film’s global success, being the first Indian movie to exceed $25 million in North America. It has also crossed 1 million pounds in Germany, showcasing strong performance in emerging markets like Finland, expanding its international reach.
“Dhurandhar-The Revenge,” featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and others, is a duology focusing on an Indian intelligence agent’s mission in Karachi. The storyline, inspired by real-life events, follows the agent’s efforts to dismantle a terror network while seeking revenge for the 26/11 attacks.
