The threat, demanding Rs 40 crore, led to a swift response from police, bomb disposal squads, and Civil Defence personnel who conducted an extensive search operation at the hospital. Security teams are thoroughly inspecting the premises to ensure safety.
Panic ensued at SMS Hospital after a threatening message was received at the Abhay Command Centre, warning of a bomb blast if the demanded money was not paid. In response, police, fire brigade, and dog squads mobilized for a large-scale security operation at the hospital. Authorities are investigating the source of the threat while maintaining heightened security measures.
Dr. Mrinal Joshi, Superintendent of SMS Hospital, confirmed the bomb threat and the subsequent search operation conducted by the police and other teams. Despite no suspicious objects being found, the matter is under investigation. Rajasthan has been on high alert due to a series of bomb threats targeting various public institutions and landmarks, with Jaipur experiencing a significant number of such incidents.
