Nearly a dozen schools in Noida were targeted with bomb threat emails, leading to fear among students, parents, and staff. The threats, received via email, prompted swift action from Noida Police, who deployed bomb disposal squads and dog units to conduct thorough security checks. Despite no suspicious items being found yet, authorities continue to investigate.
The incidents occurred during the CBSE Board exams, heightening concerns among the school community. While the Class 12 exams were ongoing, no papers were scheduled for Class 10. Law enforcement officials are treating the threats seriously, involving cyber teams to track the email source and ensuring strict security measures are in place.
Following a similar scare last month involving 20 schools, where threats were later deemed false, police recently arrested six individuals for sending hoax bomb threat emails. These individuals were allegedly linked to illegal online betting activities and used fake identities to mislead investigators. The latest threats have once again raised alarms in the region, leading to increased vigilance and parental anxiety.
