This theme aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision outlined during the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 2025. The BRICS grouping, initially BRIC, expanded to include South Africa in 2010, evolving into BRICS.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is set to attend the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi. Lavrov will engage in discussions with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on bilateral ties and other mutual interests.
