Tega Alexander from ‘The Sandman’ will portray Christopher Anderson, described as a Regency-era Casanova with underlying self-doubt. Jacqueline Boatswain, known for ‘Carnival Row,’ will play Helen Stirling, Michaela’s spirited mother who guides her through London’s social scene with vivacity and tough love.
Gemma Knight Jones, recognized for ‘Mobland,’ joins ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5 as Lady Elizabeth Ashworth, a confidante of Michaela’s and her guide in London society. Netflix revealed a teaser for the new season, announcing the production kick-off in the UK with Francesca Bridgerton and Michaela Stirling as the focal couple. The season will revolve around Francesca’s journey back into the marriage market after the loss of her husband John.
