Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen believes that true patriotism involves acknowledging America’s imperfections and advocating for improvement. During his recent PBS special, ‘Bruce Springsteen: Finding America in Song’, he emphasized the importance of critical patriotism. Springsteen expressed that loving one’s country means being willing to confront its flaws, push for positive change, and hold onto the hope for a better nation.

Known for his outspoken political views, Springsteen recently concluded his “Land of the Hope and Dreams” tour, where he included protest songs and criticized the White House. At a tour event in March, he criticized Donald Trump and former attorney general Pam Bondi, accusing them of questionable actions. Trump, in response, has used social media to attack Springsteen, calling for a boycott of his music and concerts on Truth Social.
