The Budget Session of the Bihar Legislature encountered disruptions in both Houses on Friday. In the Legislative Assembly, ruling party MLAs confronted their own ministers during Question Hour, while similar chaos unfolded in the Legislative Council. JD(U) MLC Sanjeev Kumar Singh’s repeated interruptions during question hour sparked objections from RJD members, who criticized the denial of opportunities for others to ask questions.
RJD MLC Sunil Kumar voiced strong objections, accusing the JD(U) member of dominating the proceedings. He highlighted the issue of one member continuously standing up, hindering others from participating. The disruption escalated as former Chief Minister Rabri Devi walked out in protest over the interruptions, expressing discontent over the unequal speaking opportunities in the House.
Amid visible anger among RJD members, disruptions persisted, reflecting the tense political environment in Bihar during the ongoing Budget Session. The confrontations between the ruling NDA and the opposition inside and outside the legislature continue to escalate.
