A businessman in Bhagalpur, Bihar, attributes the success of his concrete products manufacturing unit to government welfare schemes like the PM Mudra Yojana and PMEGP. Rajeev Pradeep obtained a Rs 5 lakh loan under the PM Mudra Yojana in 2021 and later secured a Rs 30 lakh loan under PMEGP in 2024, enabling him to expand his business.
With the financial support received through these initiatives, he diversified his business to include manufacturing pavers, chequered tiles, and RCC benches, significantly enhancing his economic status. Rajeev expressed optimism about Bhagalpur’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and highlighted the positive impact of these schemes on local employment.
Rajeev emphasized the benefits his workers have gained from schemes like the Ujjwala Yojana and commended the government’s efficient direct benefit transfer system, which ensures timely and fair distribution of funds without intermediaries.
