The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) is set to organize the Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav Business Expo at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Scheduled from May 1 to 4, the event aims to showcase the vast array of Indian trade, manufacturing, and services all under one roof. Supported by numerous trade federations, associations, and chambers nationwide, it will provide a significant platform at both national and global levels.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of promoting local goods globally, the event is positioned as a comprehensive Indian Business Expo. With over 2,000 stalls expected to exhibit Indian products and an anticipated footfall of over 10 lakh visitors from across the country, the focus remains on bolstering domestic and international trade through a strong business-to-business (B2B) approach.
CAIT Secretary General and MP Praveen Khandelwal emphasized the event’s strategic importance in expanding trade opportunities. The Business Expo is designed to facilitate direct connections between Indian traders, manufacturers, buyers, investors, exporters, importers, policymakers, and international delegations. Through advanced technology integration, the event will offer seamless participation, leveraging tools like digital registration systems, AI-enabled matchmaking, and smart exhibition layouts for enhanced business engagements.
The Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav will feature eight thematic business zones, each dedicated to key sectors of Indian trade and industry. A unique aspect of the expo is its end-to-end product presentation model, showcasing complete supply chains from raw materials to finished goods, packaging, logistics, and allied services in one location. This holistic approach aims to provide visitors with a comprehensive view of supply chains, facilitating exploration of partnerships, sourcing, and investment opportunities.
The event will see participation from traders, manufacturers, MSMEs, startups, women entrepreneurs, and service providers from various states and sectors across India. Apart from products, a wide range of services including logistics, fintech, e-commerce solutions, export facilitation, design, branding, and technology services will also be highlighted.
