Police in Patna have filed a case against educator Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, two security guards, and others following a disturbance at a coaching institute in the Kadamkuan area on June 2. The FIR includes charges under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, related to attempted murder, and sections of the Arms Act.
The investigation took a significant turn after a video surfaced showing the security guards firing into the air during the incident at around 10:10 p.m. at the coaching institute run by Faisal Khan. Two security guards, Talebar Singh and Pradeep Kumar, have been arrested for their involvement.
These guards, residents of Uttar Pradesh, were found to possess arms licenses issued outside Bihar. Allegations suggest that shots were fired to create panic and fear among the public. The arrested guards reportedly admitted to firing their rifles on Faisal Khan’s instructions, with each firing two rounds.
The firearms used in the incident have been seized for forensic and ballistic examinations. The investigation is ongoing, with CCTV footage, witness statements, and the newly surfaced video being reviewed. The two guards have been remanded to judicial custody after appearing before a district court.
