Intensifying the investigation into model-actor Twisha Sharma’s alleged suicide, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited accused Giribala Singh’s home in Bhopal with a human-sized dummy to reconstruct the crime scene. The CBI officials, along with forensic experts, scrutinized the sequence of events to align the accused’s statements with the physical evidence.
During the recreation, forensic experts focused on body positioning, ligature points, height measurements, and room layout. The agency is cross-referencing witness testimonies with forensic data collected at the scene. Giribala Singh, the accused, was also present during this reconstruction.
The probe has now broadened to various aspects related to the case, including questioning doctors and mental health professionals who had contact with Twisha Sharma before her demise. The CBI is delving into Samarth Singh’s activities post-FIR registration, scrutinizing his movements and interactions during the initial days after the case was filed.
Officials are examining phone records, locations visited, and potential assistance received by Samarth Singh while he was in Bhopal. Both Samarth Singh and his mother Giribala Singh are in CBI custody until June 2 and are expected to appear before a court soon. The case was transferred to the CBI due to alleged investigative oversights, with police maintaining security at Giribala Singh’s residence to safeguard evidence.
