On the eve of accepting applications for revaluation and verification of answer sheets, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) stated that its cybersecurity team is actively monitoring portal vulnerabilities to ensure smooth operations. The CBSE’s Post-Result Activities portal is set to go live on Monday, enabling Class 12 students to request verification and re-evaluation of their answer books. The Board emphasized its close supervision of the portal for seamless processing of applications.
The CBSE disclosed that it has been closely monitoring vulnerabilities in the OnMark portal of its service provider, with an expert cybersecurity team deployed to enhance system security. The Board urged citizens to report any system weaknesses promptly to facilitate quick rectification and minimize student hardships. Identified vulnerabilities have been addressed, and efforts are ongoing to eliminate any other exploitable weaknesses.
Students who have already received scanned copies of their evaluated answer books are eligible to apply for verification and re-evaluation. Nearly four lakh students have accessed approximately 11 lakh scanned answer sheets through the portal. Upon submission of re-evaluation applications, subject experts will review the questions and adjust marks if any discrepancies are identified. The CBSE also extended support to students through its helpline for any queries or issues they may encounter.
