Celebrations erupted at the Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Shimla following the party’s significant wins in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. This victory is seen as a strong endorsement of development, nationalism, and good governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
State BJP Vice-President Vipin Parmar praised Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the triumph, emphasizing that it showcases the people’s unwavering trust in the party’s governance model. He described the results as not just electoral success but a clear validation of the BJP’s ideology and the public’s confidence in PM Modi’s leadership.
Parmar highlighted a national inclination towards development-oriented politics based on the outcomes in the three states. He noted that the victory signifies a preference for governance over appeasement and performance over propaganda, reflecting a significant shift in political sentiment.
MLA Vinod Kumar also expressed similar sentiments, pointing out the visible desire for change in Bengal even before the elections.
