Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has directed the immediate recruitment of 5,000 teachers to tackle the severe shortage in government schools. The decision was made during a high-level meeting at Mahanadi Bhavan Secretariat, emphasizing the urgency of filling teacher vacancies.
To expedite the process, recruitment will be conducted through the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam), with a target to issue the recruitment advertisement by February 2026. This swift action aims to ensure that new teachers can join schools promptly and alleviate the staffing crisis.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of strengthening the state’s education system, stating that quality education is crucial for Chhattisgarh’s development.
