The Chhattisgarh government has issued a significant transfer order affecting various Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across different levels within the state. Ajay Kumar Yadav, a senior officer from the 2004 batch, has been reassigned from Director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy to Inspector General of Police in Rajnandgaon range. Balaji Rao Somawar, previously holding the position of IG in Rajnandgaon Range, has now been appointed as Inspector General at the Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur.
Prashant Kumar Agrawal, an officer from the 2008 batch, who was serving as IG of Chhattisgarh Armed Police in Bastar region, has also been transferred to Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur. Additionally, Prashant Kumar Thakur, previously SP Surajpur, has been designated as Deputy Inspector General at Police Headquarters. Ramkrishna Sahu, who served as SP in Bemetara, has been moved to the position of Deputy IG at Police Headquarters.
Dharmendra Chhabai, a former SP in Kabirdham, has been reassigned as Commandant of the 8th Battalion, Chhattisgarh Armed Police in Rajnandgaon. Shweta Rajmani, previously Commandant of the 19th Battalion in Bastar, has been shifted to the role of Deputy IG, Chhattisgarh Armed Police in Jagdalpur. Rajesh Kukreja, who was Commandant of the 1st Battalion in Bhilai, has been transferred as Deputy IG at Police Headquarters.
Bhavna Gupta, a 2014 batch officer and former SP of Balodabazar-Bhatapara, has been appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Police Headquarters. Chandramohan Singh, who was serving as Director (Training/Operations) in Fire and Emergency Services, has been reassigned as Superintendent of Police in Dantewada. Ravi Kumar Kurre, promoted from SP in Koriya, has taken up the role of Assistant SP at Police Headquarters.
