The Election Commission of India mentioned that preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections in November 2027 are underway in Himachal Pradesh. The enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision – Phase III has commenced in Odisha, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Manipur. The ECI emphasized the importance of submitting Enumeration Forms by June 28, 2026, for inclusion in the Draft Electoral Rolls.
During the enumeration phase, Booth Level Officers conduct door-to-door visits to distribute enumeration forms to existing electors. Electors have the option to submit the forms either through BLOs or online. The BLOs are equipped with blank Form-6 and Declaration Forms to facilitate new elector enrollments during the house-to-house enumeration process.
