Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has instructed officials to ensure the successful execution of Rural and Urban Service Camps, emphasizing the resolution of issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity, healthcare, and revenue matters. Reviewing the preparations for the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural), VB-G Ram Ji Scheme, Chief Minister Sharma urged the concerned departments to finalize all arrangements before its launch on July 1.
Describing the scheme as a significant endeavor that will boost employment opportunities, enhance rural livelihoods, and contribute significantly to realizing the vision of Viksit Rajasthan–2047, CM Sharma highlighted its importance. He also cautioned that strict action would be taken against any official found negligent during the conduct of these camps.
During a high-level review meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized the effectiveness of the camps in providing immediate solutions to citizens’ problems. He directed officials to ensure that the camps are result-oriented and accountable, urging them to prepare separate district-wise lists of new and pending cases for systematic disposal and continuous monitoring.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, along with senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Office and representatives from various departments including Urban Development, Local Self-Government, Revenue, and Rural Development, attended the meeting to discuss the progress and implementation of the initiatives.
On the occasion of International MSME Day, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma unveiled a series of policy initiatives and incentives aimed at boosting industrial growth, strengthening the MSME ecosystem, promoting entrepreneurship, and positioning Rajasthan as a prime investment destination. He announced the development of dedicated Haats for artisans and weavers, new incentives for the electronics and semiconductor sectors under RIPS-2024, financial support for startups, and the launch of the Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy.
Highlighting the significance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Rajasthan’s economic landscape, Chief Minister Sharma reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship, enhancing the global visibility of local products, and transforming Rajasthan into a prominent industrial state while preserving its cultural heritage.
