Chief Minister Manik Saha of Tripura expressed the government’s dedication to ensuring the efficient delivery of welfare schemes and the advancement of Tripura. Speaking at the inauguration of the Ramakrishna Mission–Rotary Mobile Dental Clinic, Saha, a dental surgeon himself, highlighted the completion of tasks for tourism development in the Northeast.
He mentioned being entrusted with additional infrastructure development responsibilities by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia due to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s electoral commitments. Saha affirmed his commitment to the region’s development and stressed the importance of mental well-being, advocating for stress reduction through laughter.
The establishment of a dental college within eight months and the launch of a mobile dental clinic align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of extending government services to remote areas. Saha also shared plans for introducing foreign language courses at the Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar center, following approval from the governing body.
Critiquing the opposition for focusing on fault-finding rather than constructive politics, Saha emphasized the government’s dedication to development. He underscored the respect owed to doctors and the government’s ongoing efforts for the welfare of the tribal community, initiated in 2014 and continued under the current administration.
Officials including Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Viveknagar Swami Shubhakarananda Maharaj and Industries and Commerce Secretary Kiran Gitte attended the event.
