Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is advancing his ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ (Prosperity Journey) in Bhagalpur, marking the beginning of the fourth phase. During this phase, he oversaw the development works’ advancement and checked on the status of commitments made during the previous ‘Pragati Yatra,’ while also receiving detailed updates on departmental action plans.
In Bhagalpur, the Chief Minister initiated 56 projects by laying their foundation stones and inaugurated 88 projects, dedicating them to the public. Notable among these initiatives was the commencement of the ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Mandap’ in Baijani Gram Panchayat of Jagdishpur block.
Furthermore, Nitish Kumar launched various development schemes in the district and engaged with beneficiaries by inspecting departmental stalls, interacting with them, and distributing support cheques. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to foster prosperity in Bihar, urging people to contribute to the state’s development.
