Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party President Chirag Paswan has strongly criticized Galgotias University for showcasing a Chinese-made robot at the AI Summit, labeling it as damaging to India’s reputation. Paswan emphasized the seriousness of presenting foreign technology as indigenous, stating that it could harm the country’s global image.
Paswan defended personal freedom in response to demands from certain Muslim organizations to shut liquor shops during Ramazan in Delhi. He highlighted the government’s role in ensuring food quality and hygiene but opposed imposing closures based on religious festivals, emphasizing respect for personal liberty in all situations.
Expressing concern over the suspicious death of a NEET aspirant and alleged threats to the victim’s family, Paswan called for the government to provide complete security to the family. He reiterated his support for holding those involved in examination malpractice accountable, emphasizing the need for transparency, accountability, and justice in such cases.
