Veteran actor Chunky Panday recently posted a video montage on social media, reminiscing about his moments with the late filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani. The clip showcased a range of photos from their past to present, capturing their bond over the years. Chunky expressed his emotions in the post, calling Nihalani his “EVERYTHING” and bidding him farewell.

Pahlaj Nihalani, aged 76, passed away on June 4 after battling a prolonged illness. His last rites were conducted at the Santa Cruz crematorium in Mumbai, attended by celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Shatrughan Sinha, Varun Dhawan, and others from the industry. Chunky Panday made his acting debut in 1987 with Nihalani’s film “Aag Hi Aag” and later collaborated with him on the 1993 movie “Ankhen” alongside Govinda.

Govinda, in a media interaction, praised Pahlaj Nihalani as the foundation of his career in the film industry. He expressed gratitude for Nihalani’s support in lifting artists out of poverty and helping them achieve success. Govinda credited Nihalani for his own rise to fame and acknowledged his significant role in shaping the careers of many artists.
