After a tragic mass suicide in Mishraulia village, Bihar, the CID has taken over the investigation. The incident involved a family of four who allegedly committed suicide. CID officials, including DIG Jayant Kant, visited the crime scene for a detailed forensic examination.

The CID team recovered important clues from the deceased’s mobile phone and documents at the site. They are now analyzing this evidence to determine the reasons behind the mass suicide. Financial difficulties and debt pressure are suspected to have driven the father, Amarnath Ram, to take such a drastic step.

The police administration in Muzaffarpur has cracked down on illegally operating lending institutions. Raids on microfinance companies revealed that many were operating without proper licenses. The CID is investigating whether Amarnath Ram was ensnared in the loan network of these illegal companies. Stringent actions are expected against such entities in the near future.
