Workers from the BJP and Congress clashed near the BJP office in Hyderabad following protests over incidents in New Delhi. The BJP rallied against what they saw as a security breach by Rahul Gandhi, while Congress protested the detention of their leaders. Violence erupted with both sides using sticks and stones, resulting in injuries to some workers and a policewoman.

There was heightened tension near the Telangana BJP headquarters and the nearby Congress headquarters in Nampally. BJP workers gathered to protest against the Congress, damaging their property in the process. Police detained Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao and other leaders during the unrest.

Congress and NSUI workers later marched towards the BJP office for their own protest. Congress workers attempted to besiege the BJP office, chanting slogans against Prime Minister Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The situation escalated as both party workers clashed with each other, prompting police intervention and detentions.

The clashes caused a significant traffic jam in Nampally, Moazzam Jahi Market, and surrounding areas. In a separate incident, clashes between Congress and BJP workers in Karimnagar town led to police using lathi charge to disperse the groups. BJP workers alleged being attacked by Congress activists with sticks, leading to retaliatory actions.
