Coastal Kings Mangaluru has named Karun Nair as the captain for the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 Season 5. The franchise introduced its inaugural squad, revealed its leadership group, launched the team anthem, and showcased the official jersey in preparation for the tournament.
During the press conference in Mangaluru, key figures including Dr. Srikanth Rai, B.N. Madhukar, Avinash Vaidya, Vinod Naidu, Karun Nair, Shreyas Gopal, Roopesh Shetty, and others were present. Karun Nair expressed his excitement about leading the team in its debut season and emphasized the importance of showcasing talent in the tournament.
The Coastal Kings Mangaluru owner, Vinod Naidu, highlighted the team’s vision to represent the coastal region and promote grassroots cricket. The franchise aims to not only compete in the Maharaja Trophy but also engage with local cricketers to nurture talent at the grassroots level. The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20’s fifth edition is scheduled from June 20 to July 12 in Mysuru, Hubballi, and Bengaluru.
