Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), claimed that Delhi Police assaulted him and dragged him on the road while he was en route to Jantar Mantar. This incident occurred after climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was moved to a hospital from the protest site. Dipke accused the police of forcibly removing Wangchuk from the spot and vowed to continue the protest.

Dipke expressed his outrage, stating that the police used force to prevent him from reaching Jantar Mantar. Despite facing resistance, he affirmed that the protest would persist. Dipke also mentioned that several legislators and parliamentarians were denied entry to the protest site.

Moreover, Dipke announced his decision to begin a hunger strike on the same day. He emphasized that the protest would not cease, even after Wangchuk was taken to the hospital due to deteriorating health. The CJP activists and the public present at the protest site protested as police personnel relocated Wangchuk.
