The All India Congress Committee has named presidents for District Congress Committees in Andhra Pradesh. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the appointments, including 25 DCCs and 16 city units. Notable appointments include Staka Bullibabu for Alluri Sitarama Raju DCC and Boddu Srinivas for Anakapalli DCC.

G. Tika Ram will lead the Chittoor city unit, while P. Bala Venkata Subrahmaniam will head Eluru city. Other city unit presidents include Shaik Mohammed Ifthikar Ahmed (Guntur city) and Syed Ghouse Peer (Kadapa city). Y. S Sharmila was appointed as APCC president by Mallikarjun Kharge in January 2024 after merging YSR Telangana Party with the Congress party.

Sharmila, the sister of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and daughter of late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, led the Congress party in the state Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in May 2024. However, the party failed to secure any seats in both elections.
