Congress leader Udit Raj expressed strong disapproval of the Janakpuri biker death incident, attributing it to administrative shortcomings and questioning the BJP-led Delhi government’s responsibility. Raj highlighted the lack of action taken post the accident, emphasizing the need for accountability and improvement under the current government.

The incident involved the tragic death of a 25-year-old biker, Kamal Dhyani, who lost his life falling into an open pit dug by the Delhi Jal Board in Janakpuri. The FIR revealed serious safety lapses at the project site, including the absence of necessary precautions like warning signs, barricades, and lighting.

The pit, part of a DJB project, was left uncovered on a main road, posing a significant hazard to commuters due to the lack of safety measures. The incident has raised concerns regarding negligence and accountability on the part of the agencies responsible for the safety of the public.

Police records indicate that the biker fell into a deep pit on a main road in Janakpuri, leading to his tragic demise. Despite rescue efforts, the biker was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. The authorities are investigating the incident, with a focus on the safety protocols and responsibilities of the concerned agencies.
