The Congress party is focusing on strengthening its organization for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. In a setback, Congress leader Nasimuddin Siddiqui has resigned from the party. Siddiqui, who joined the Congress eight years ago, emphasized his grassroots work and expressed feeling sidelined despite his efforts.
Siddiqui mentioned that his future plans, whether forming his own organization or joining another party, are undecided. He clarified that his resignation was due to personal reasons and not because of any personal grievances against the party leadership. Siddiqui highlighted that the objectives he had when joining the party were not being met.
