All eyes are on the upcoming Congress party meeting in Delhi between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and the party’s national leadership. The leaders arrived in Delhi after being summoned, sparking speculation about a possible leadership change in Karnataka.
Karnataka Minister M.B. Patil, a close associate of Siddaramaiah, refrained from speculating on the meeting’s outcome or leadership change possibilities. He highlighted that various topics would be discussed, including upcoming elections, cabinet reshuffle demands, party organization strengthening, and political strategies against the central government.
Patil emphasized that decisions regarding cabinet reshuffles and leadership changes are solely in the hands of the party high command. He reiterated that the high command’s decisions are final, and the party will adhere to them.
The meeting is expected to address a range of issues, including Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council elections, party organization strengthening, and strategies against the central government. The leaders are set to discuss these matters with the national leadership, led by Rahul Gandhi and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge.
