The controversy involving popular educator and YouTuber Faisal Khan, known as Khan Sir, has intensified in Bihar with the filing of an FIR against him. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stated that appropriate action will be taken against those violating the law. The case originated from a disturbance at a coaching institute in Patna’s Kadamkuan area on June 2.
Besides Khan Sir, the police have also lodged an FIR against his two detained security guards and several unidentified individuals linked to the incident. The investigation took a significant turn after the arrested bodyguards claimed they fired their rifles on Khan Sir’s instructions. These claims are currently under investigation, with authorities scrutinizing all aspects of the case.
Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal emphasized that any actions against Khan Sir are in accordance with established legal procedures. He stated that the government is strictly following the law in dealing with the situation. Opposition leaders have also weighed in on the issue, with CPI-M leader Hannan Mollah alleging a larger conspiracy behind the action against Khan Sir.
Mollah criticized the coaching industry, stating that many coaching centers exploit students and their families financially. He highlighted Khan Sir’s institute as a more affordable option for economically disadvantaged students. The controversy has been linked by some political figures to the NEET-UG paper leak case, with claims that it is being used as a distraction.
Samajwadi Party National Spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand expressed concerns that the focus on coaching institute disputes might divert attention from the NEET controversy. Chand emphasized the need for legal action if any laws were breached in connection with Khan Sir’s coaching institute. The case continues to draw significant attention in Bihar and beyond, with investigators examining all allegations and individuals involved.
