India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain and attended the 4:00 am bhasma aarti after the ODI series loss to New Zealand. He was warmly welcomed by the temple committee post the darshan.
Former India captain Virat Kohli, spinner Kuldeep Yadav, and fielding coach T Dilip also visited the temple in Ujjain before the third ODI and were felicitated.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul offered prayers at the temple a day before Kohli and Kuldeep’s visit.

India faced New Zealand in the ODI series, with the Kiwis winning the decider and securing their first-ever ODI series victory in India.
New Zealand set a target of 338 runs, powered by centuries from Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips. India struggled in their chase, losing key wickets quickly.
Despite Virat Kohli’s century, India fell short as New Zealand’s strong bowling performance led to their victory in the final stages of the game.
