A training programme for Assistant Bookkeepers in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, is set to transform the lives of enrolled individuals. SBI RSETI Reasi, in collaboration with the Central government, is offering skill-based education free of charge to 34 candidates from various parts of District Reasi. The course covers theoretical knowledge and practical skills in bookkeeping, accounting practices, and financial record maintenance.
Participants in the programme expressed their appreciation for the opportunity. Arati Devi, a local resident, highlighted the value of the free computer training provided under the scheme. She praised the Modi government for the initiative, emphasizing its potential to empower individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Parveen Akhtar, another student, acknowledged the Centre for offering free computer learning opportunities. She noted the positive impact on girls’ education in the area, expressing gratitude for the chance to study computers. The initiative was lauded for fostering self-reliance and independence among the participants.
Kavita Sharma shared her newfound knowledge and confidence in computer skills, underscoring the transformation brought about by the training programme. Rahul, a faculty member, detailed the focus on computer accounting in the course, highlighting the government’s support for students’ lodging and food expenses. The training aims to equip students with comprehensive computer knowledge to enhance their employability.
