Cyberabad police have exposed a significant land scam involving fake Government Orders, resulting in the arrest of three individuals. The accused allegedly forged Government Orders to unlawfully sell 10 acres of government land valued at nearly Rs 1,500 crore in Gandipet. Among the accused is former YSR Congress Party MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu, who is reportedly evading authorities.
The arrested individuals, Nimmala Rajesh Goud, Nimmala Venugopal, and Nimmala Sai Kiran, were apprehended by the police. An investigation was initiated following a complaint from Srinivas Reddy, Tahsildar of Gandipet Mandal, regarding the creation and dissemination of fake Government Orders through various platforms.
The accused individuals, residents of Gandipet Village, allegedly laid claim to 10 acres of Government Poramboke land despite the High Court dismissing their petitions in October 2025. They purportedly conspired to sell the land at Rs 3.5 crore per acre, misrepresenting themselves as legitimate owners.
