Singer Darshan Raval recently launched his latest song, “Only Mine,” describing it as a departure from his usual style, showcasing raw emotions and deep passion. Collaborating with Siddarth Amir Bhavsar and Youngveer for the lyrics, Raval expressed his excitement about the experimental nature of the track. He shared that the song’s unique melody impressed his peers, leading to a decision to record it live.
Raval highlighted the live recording process, emphasizing the incorporation of strings and drums to enhance the song’s depth. Anticipating a live performance in Pune, he encouraged fans to join in singing along, expressing pride in the creation of “Only Mine.” Despite uncertainties about its reception, Raval expressed confidence that audiences would appreciate the track’s distinctiveness.
Having started his musical journey in 2014 on the reality show “India’s Raw Star,” where he emerged as the first runner-up, the 31-year-old singer has since delivered numerous hit songs across various languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, and Telugu. Notable works in his repertoire include tracks from films like “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga,” “Loveyatri,” “Shershaah,” and “Sanam Teri Kasam.” Additionally, Raval’s recent contributions include “Jigar Thanda” from the romantic film “Tere Ishk Mein,” directed by Aanand L. Rai and starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.
