Popular TV actress Deepika Singh recently bid farewell to the show “Mangal Lakshmi” after a successful 2.5-year run and 770 episodes. She shared her gratitude for the opportunity to portray the iconic character of Mangal and posted images and videos from the show’s wrap-up party. The series revolved around two sisters, Mangal and Lakshmi, navigating challenging marriages and toxic relationships while supporting each other.
Deepika, known for her role as the selfless homemaker Mangal, expressed her thanks to the show’s makers, producer, and co-actors. She acknowledged the cast, crew, team members, and the supportive audience for enabling the show to complete its long journey. Deepika considered herself fortunate to have played the character of Mangal and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the memorable experience.
The show, an adaptation of the Kannada series “Bhagyalakshmi,” also features actors Sanika Amit, Naman Shaw, and Shubham Dipta. Deepika, who rose to fame with her debut in “Diya Aur Baati Hum” as IPS Sandhya Kothari Rathi, took a break before returning to television in 2019. She later appeared in various roles, including a double role in “Kavach… Mahashivrati” and as an advocate in the web series “Halala.” In 2022, she made her film debut in “Titu Ambani” alongside Tushar Pandey.
