Actress Deepti Naval recently reminisced about her directorial venture ‘Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish.’ Sharing the film’s poster on Instagram, she delved into its narrative. The story revolves around Debu, a struggling songwriter, and Juhi, an aging streetwalker, along with Juhi’s son Kaku, who is wheelchair-bound and yearning for love and care. As the characters’ lives intertwine, the film explores themes of love, connection, and the complexities of relationships in contemporary society.

Debu, in need of shelter, persuades Juhi to hire him as a babysitter for her son. However, this arrangement leads to emotional complexities as a bond forms between Debu and Kaku. The narrative unfolds with tender and dramatic moments as the characters navigate their desires and aspirations. The film portrays Debu’s efforts to transform Juhi’s life and the evolving dynamics among the trio, questioning the possibilities of forming a new kind of family.
