During an interactive session with young representatives from Uttar Pradesh, Singh highlighted the transformative role of young minds in shaping India’s future. He encouraged multidisciplinary learning, mentioning fields like artificial intelligence and space exploration. The Defence Minister emphasized resilience and courage as essential qualities, noting that setbacks and criticism shape character more than success alone.
Acknowledging the inevitability of challenges, Singh urged the youth not to fear difficulties but to face them with courage. He emphasized that troubles are a natural part of life and can lead to personal growth. Singh encouraged seeing obstacles as opportunities and stressed the importance of solution-driven thinking and self-confidence rooted in hard work.
The Defence Minister underscored the significance of humility, acknowledging the support of family, teachers, and peers in every achievement. He encouraged the youth to view failures and criticism as tests of strength, highlighting the importance of endurance in difficult journeys. Singh praised the participants in the dialogue for their knowledge, leadership, and passion for nation-building.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aims to empower young participants through mentorship and collaborative vision-building. The event continues at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to join on National Youth Day, January 12.
