Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the significant progress of Uttar Pradesh, emphasizing its shift from a region associated with law-and-order issues and mafia influence to a model of development and efficient governance. Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘Nausena Shaurya Vatika’ in Lucknow, Singh highlighted the state’s evolution into a hub for investment and economic growth.
Singh credited the state government for fostering an environment conducive to economic development and investment, mentioning initiatives like the ‘One District, One Product’ scheme. He commended Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his efforts in enhancing law and order and combatting organized crime, which have attracted investors to Uttar Pradesh from both national and global arenas.
The Defence Minister emphasized that the Naval Gallantry Park is not just a recreational space but a tribute to India’s military legacy and patriotism. He expressed that the park, showcasing military equipment and platforms, aims to educate visitors about the sacrifices and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces.
Singh highlighted the park’s role in inspiring youth towards national service and responsibility, underscoring its significance in strengthening patriotic values among future generations. He also noted the historical and cultural ties between Uttar Pradesh and the Indian Navy, symbolized by the establishment of the Naval Gallantry Park in Lucknow.
