Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to embark on a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency, Lucknow, starting Thursday. Upon arrival at Lucknow Airport on March 12, around 8:00 p.m., Singh will attend a family wedding ceremony. The following day, he will inaugurate the Golf City branch of City Montessori School at CMS Golf City, Sector C, Pocket 9, around 11:30 a.m.
During his visit, Rajnath Singh will engage with various political leaders and families involved in public affairs in the city. He will visit the residences of MLA Yogesh Shukla in Rajajipuram and the late Vindhyavasini Kumar in Rajendra Nagar. Additionally, the Defence Minister will participate in the inauguration of the Green Corridor project in Lucknow, alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The Green Corridor inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place at Samtamulk Square around 4:30 p.m., followed by an inspection of the corridor from Samtamulk Square to Daliganj Bridge. Singh will also address a public meeting at Jhulelal Vatika in Hasanganj at approximately 5:00 p.m. Subsequently, he will head to Lucknow Airport, with an expected departure for Delhi around 6:20 p.m.
