Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated that the Delhi government is committed to providing ration cards to all impoverished individuals earning below the approved minimum wage. He criticized the Aam Aadmi Party for allegedly misleading the underprivileged residents of Delhi. Sachdeva expressed concerns about the “first come, first served” ration card initiative by the Arvind Kejriwal government, accusing it of issuing cards to Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims under false pretenses.
The BJP leader emphasized that the Delhi BJP government aims to ensure that ration cards are not issued to Bangladeshi or Rohingya Muslims, highlighting a shift in policy. He mentioned that the government is open to addressing complaints from individuals asked for bribes for EWS card issuance. Sachdeva praised Water Minister Parvesh Verma for taking action against negligent Delhi Jal Board officials, suspending three senior officers for unauthorized absence during working hours.
Sachdeva commended the BJP government’s commitment to public welfare and citizens’ rights, applauding the Minister’s stance against officials failing to fulfill their duties. He criticized the AAP for alleged attempts to control suspensions for personal gain, contrasting it with the BJP’s approach of ensuring accountability and transparency.
