Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva praised the Patiala House Court’s move to place Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu in four days of police custody for his involvement in the disruption at India’s AI Impact Summit. Sachdeva criticized the actions of Uday Bhanu, allegedly at the direction of Rahul Gandhi, as an attempt to damage India’s reputation on the global stage. He emphasized that the AI Summit aimed to showcase India’s technological advancements internationally, not serve any political agenda.
Sachdeva highlighted that the event was a platform for Indian youth to exhibit their innovations in artificial intelligence, portraying India’s progress towards becoming a global leader in the field. He condemned the behavior of Rahul Gandhi’s supporters, labeling it as shameful and indicative of the Congress party’s involvement. Sachdeva pointed out a pattern where such incidents occur whenever India gains international acclaim, citing previous instances during US President Donald Trump’s visit and the recent presence of leaders from 22 countries.
